Synopsis A peasant boy comes to St. Petersburg just as the 1917 October Revolution is beginning. He witnesses some of the great events of the revolution and ends up joining the fight. An innovative piece of silent filmmaking commissioned by the Soviet government (as was Eisenstein's 'October') to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Revolution.
